ADL Offers Reward Following Three Alleged Antisemitic Attacks

  • November 30, 2021

New York, NY, November 30, 2021 … ADL (the Anti-Defamation League) is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for three reported antisemitic attacks over the past week in Brooklyn.

According to police and other reports, a 3-year-old boy was slapped in the face on November 26 and an 18-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy were attacked on November 28. All three young victims were visibly Jewish.

“We are outraged by this string of attacks targeting Jewish children and youth,” said Scott Richman, ADL NY/NJ Regional Director. “Two of the three incidents occurred on the first night of Chanukah, which should be a time of celebration, not fear and trauma for our young people. ADL is offering this award to send a clear message that hate-motivated violence is absolutely unacceptable.”

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to call NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
