  • December 27, 2021

New York, NY, December 27, 2021 … ADL (the Anti-Defamation League) is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the reported assault of two individuals yesterday morning in Brooklyn, one of whom was wearing an Israel Defense Forces sweatshirt.

According to the NYPD and other reports, the incident occurred on 86th Street in the area of 4th Avenue. Two individuals allegedly approached the victim with the sweatshirt, demanding that he remove it. When the victim refused to remove his sweatshirt, the perpetrators allegedly punched him in the face and punched the second victim in the stomach before fleeing the scene.

“We are outraged by this brazen attack and urge anyone with information to come forward,” said Scott Richman, ADL New York/New Jersey Regional Director. “We hope this reward helps send a clear and unequivocal message that crimes like these are unacceptable and have consequences.”

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to call NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
