ADL Report: White Supremacist Propaganda Spikes in 2020

Today, ADL released a new report, which revealed white supremacist propaganda distribution surged across the U.S. in 2020, with a total of 5,125 cases of racist, antisemitic, anti-immigrant and anti-LGBTQ messages distributed, nearly double the 2,724 cases reported in 2019. ADL findings revealed a national average of 14 incidents per day, reaching an all-time high in ADL's tracking data, and an alarming 68% increase in propaganda targeting Jews

In 2020, ADL recorded 2,024 antisemitic incidents in the United States. While antisemitic incidents declined by 4 percent after hitting an all-time high in 2019, last year was the third-highest year for incidents against American Jews since ADL started tracking this data in 1979.
