On October 27, 2016 ADL New York Region hosted its annual Middle East Conference with a packed house at ADL National Headquarters in New York City. The event, entitled “The Press and Israel: How Accurately is Israel Portrayed in the Global Media” featured an engaging panel of noted journalists, including Ethan Bronner of Bloomberg News, J.J. Goldberg of the Forward, and Judith Miller, Fox News contributor. The moderator for the evening, Andrew Silow-Carroll, editor in chief for the JTA, led a lively discussion about the press and its role in shaping attitudes towards Israel.
