We need your help to congratulate over 80,000 New York students and educators for making their schools No Place For Hate® by bringing awareness to the issues of bias, bullying, and prejudice through assemblies and other interactive activities.

No Place For Hate is an initiative of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) that offers students, teachers, administrators and family members the opportunity to work together to combat prejudice and enhance a culture of respect in their school community.

That’s where you come in. We know how very busy you are, so all we are looking for is a 20-30 second clip introducing yourself  and congratulating the students for their commitment to making their schools safe for everyone. You could also share why you think it is important for them to keep doing this kind of work. AND you can use your own phone to shoot the video (be sure to shoot it horizontally and close to the camera to ensure that we can hear you).

We will feature your video at our Annual No Place for Hate Ceremony at the Skirball Center on May 21, 2015 (which you are totally invited to). We will also share it with over 1,700 participating No Place for Hate schools around the country.

Help us tell these students and educators that what they do is making a difference.

You can send the video to me directly at jsirois@adl.org. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Thanks in advance for your consideration. Your message is going to mean so much to the students and educators.

P.S. We’re honoring Lady Gaga and her Born This Way Foundation with our Making a Difference Award on May 21st, so feel free to include a shout out to her!
