ADL Welcomes NJ Attorney General’s Immigrant Trust Directive

New York, NY, December 10, 2018 … In response to the New Jersey Attorney General’s announcement last week of a new Immigrant Trust Directive,  ADL’s New York / New Jersey Regional Director Evan Bernstein released the following statement:

We welcome Attorney General Grewal’s release of the Immigrant Trust Directive in New Jersey, which seeks to preserve critical trust between local law enforcement and the immigrant communities they serve.  We look forward to working with our partner organizations in New Jersey to ensure that the Directive is implemented in a way that preserves and protects immigrant rights.”
