ADL Offers Reward Following Antisemitic Assault in Brooklyn, NY
New York, NY, October 22, 2021 … ADL (the Anti-Defamation League) announced today that it is offering a reward of up to $5000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for the apparent antisemitic assault of a Jewish man in Brooklyn on August 28.
According to police and other reports, two individuals approached the victim on the street. When they found out he was Jewish, they allegedly began yelling antisemitic statements and punched and kicked him.
“We are appalled and outraged by this attack,” said Scott Richman, ADL NY/NJ Regional Director. “ADL is offering this award to send the unmistakable message that hate-motivated violence is unacceptable and to help ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.”
