On May 16th, 2018, ADL New York/New Jersey’s NextGen Community proudly hosted an Outreach Network Event entitled, “Empowered Women Change the World”. With over 60 guests in attendance, the event featured esteemed panelists Lauren Goldberg of Vereit Inc., NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Equity and Inclusion Dr. Tracie Keesee, Assemblywoman Nily Rozic, and Alexis Tryon of The Muse. At the request of the New Jersey Department of Homeland Security and the Jersey City Police Department, we are canceling tonight's Securing Justice Awards Dinner. This decision was made based on the active shooter situation in Jersey City. Our team has been advised to avoid the area as this is still an active emergency. There is a general lockdown of
