Photographs surfaced of Commack High School students wearing offensive t-shirts displaying swastikas and the word “Auschwitz,” at a recent house party. The pictures came to light after they were posted on social media and they immediately spread, eventually becoming international headlines.

Regional Director Evan Bernstein was interviewed by PIX 11 News about ADL’s recent documentation of an increase in anti-Semitic incidents in New York: “We have to keep our eye on the ball,” said Bernstein. Everybody, Jews and non-Jews, have to “do whatever we can to eliminate it.”
