Letters to the Editor
New York Post
The Post’s recycling of Jonathan Tobin’s meritless attack on the Anti-Defamation League and its record on Israel is unfair (“The Anti-Defamation League Turns Anti-Israel,” Sept. 15). The opinion piece by ADL’s CEO, Jonathan Greenblatt, that Mr. Tobin takes issue with, while criticizing a statement by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, also outlined a litany of grievances with the Palestinian leadership for their unrelenting hostility toward the Jewish state.
Mr. Tobin completely ignored that portion of Mr. Greenblatt’s blog, preferring to pursue a particular political agenda rather than accurately reflect the record. ADL always has been an ardent advocate for Israel, and a leader in combating anti-Semitism in all of its guises, including challenges to the State of Israel. Mr. Tobin’s assertion that it will not continue to be a strong supporter of Israel into the future is without any foundation and The Post’s endorsement of it by repetition unjustified.
Sincerely,
Andrew J. Frackman
