DESCRIPTION:The Hidden Child Foundation and the ADL New York/New Jersey Region invite you to join a virtual screening and panel discussion of the 1994 prize-winning documentary Diamonds in the Snow by Mira Reym Binford\, filmmaker and educator. \nThousands of Jewish children lived in the Polish city of Bedzin before the Holocaust. Barely a dozen survived the community’s destruction. Through interviews and rare archival film and photos\, this critically acclaimed\, international award-winning documentary tells the story of three of these children\, Ada Raviv\, Shulamit Levin\, and Mira Binford (the filmmaker). The women recount their memories of a childhood spent hiding from the Nazis\, and they reflect on the courage of those who helped them to survive.
