PROGRAMS

Words to Action: Empowering Students to Address Antisemitism

Words to Action (WTA) workshops are interactive and customized to provide students and/or administrators tools to:

  • Increase understanding and awareness of antisemitism on campus and beyond
  • Counter antisemitic stereotypes and myths with accurate information
  • Respond effectively and constructively to the variety of ways antisemitism manifests itself, from insensitive or biased comments to hate-motivated incidents
  • Feel empowered to take personal action when antisemitism or any form of hate targets campus community members

A Campus of Difference™ Anti-Bias Programming

ADL offers comprehensive anti-bias training and resources for college and university campuses throughout the United States. Together, campus leaders explore the impact of stereotypes, bias and discrimination on individuals and on the entire campus climate. Building on this awareness, they are able to identify effective strategies to respond effectively to bias, implement effective policies on campus, and inspire students to speak out and become the advocates and voices of positive change on campus. Anti-bias workshops help to establish more welcoming, inclusive and diverse environments where young adults have true opportunities to reach for their fullest potential as global citizens and leaders of tomorrow.
