Celebrate 100 Years of Impact at ArtWorks ADL: Justice, Advocacy & Art on June 5th

  • April 26, 2013

ArtWorks ADL: Justice, Advocacy & Art ™, is the premier art exhibition, fundraiser and silent auction highlighting the mission of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) – to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment for all. ArtWorks ADL will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Benrimon Contemporary Gallery, 514 West 24th Street, in New York City. The exhibition will begin with a VIP reception with the artists at 7 PM, and followed by the exhibition and continuation of the silent auction from 8 – 11 PM. The live auction will begin at 8:30 PM. ArtWorks ADL will feature an open wine bar, hors d’ouevres and music. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on the artworks through a silent and live auction with 100% of all proceeds benefitting ADL. After the event, the exhibition will be open to the public and displayed at the gallery from Thursday, June 6th – Sunday, June 9th.
Founded in 2012 by the New York Region Next Generation Philanthropy Community (NGPC), ArtWorks ADL features unique artwork created by today’s leading emerging artists. In honor of ADL’s 100th anniversary, the theme of this year’s exhibition is Imagine a World Without Hate ™. Each artist will create a unique piece of art work – painting, photography or mixed media – that expresses their vision of a world where there is no hate and with tolerance and respect for all. The works of art will be included in a silent auction where guests can bid on the work, and a featured group of works will be offered during a live auction.
