March 2014: ADL New York hosted a special panel with fantastic educators who all participated in ADL’s unique interfaith/intergroup initiatives during 2013. Panelists attended Bearing Witness, ADL’s annual conference on Holocaust education for Catholic school educators, and Building Bridges/Connecting Classrooms, a one-day seminar designed for Jewish and Muslim educators together to learn about presenting each other’s faiths in the classroom.

ADL New York Region Takes Action Against Anti-Semitic Incident in Westchester

When reports surfaced that a Westchester fire chief had made anti-Semitic remarks about an elected official, ADL immediately took action.  The controversy came to light in two separate sworn depositions taken earlier this year.
